Introduction to the Patent Technology of TJ Series Thick Slurry Pumps

Our company's thick slurry pump has obtained a new utility model patent. The pump has excellent suction capability, ensuring that this centrifugal pump can replace diaphragm pumps and plunger pumps within a certain range to transport high-concentration slurries with weight concentrations of 65% to 70% or even greater than 70%, or high-viscosity slurries.

TJ Series Thick Slurry Pump Application Site 1 - High Viscosity

The Pingguo Bauxite Mine of Aluminum Corporation of China Guangxi Branch was designed by Changsha Nonferrous Metallurgy Design and Research Institute. The second phase mud discharge project originally used three-stage series ordinary slurry pumps for transportation. Due to the high viscosity of the discharged mud (slurry concentration ≥33%, viscosity 285 mpa.s), the pumps could not operate normally, causing delays in project completion and acceptance.

In 2004, based on our company's recommendation, the first-stage pump of the mud discharge slurry pump at Pingguo Bauxite Mine was replaced with our company's 100NJ-485 thick slurry pump. After replacing the impellers of the second and third stage pumps with special impellers designed for thick slurry pumps by our company, the three pumps operated normally, and the project passed acceptance smoothly.

In November 2004, the second phase project of Pingguo Bauxite Mine won the First Prize for Excellent Engineering Design from the Ministry of Nonferrous Metals Industry of China in 2004.
