Submerged Slurry Pump

The LP (R) type submersible pump is a centrifugal slurry pump suitable for conveying abrasive or corrosive slurry; the pump generally operates submerged in a tank or pit. The submersible pumps are divided into LP and LPR types, with the same structure. The LP type has metal flow parts and shaft, suitable for conveying abrasive slurry. The LPR type has flow parts lined with wear-resistant rubber, suitable for conveying corrosive slurry. The LP (R) type submersible pump is widely used in metallurgy, mining, coal, electric power, building materials, and other industries.

Structural Description

The pump body, impeller, and wear plate of the LP type submerged pump are all cast with wear-resistant materials. The structure is simple and easy to install. The pump body is fixed to the bracket with bolts. The upper end of the bracket holds the bearing housing. The bearing housing near the pump end uses double-row tapered roller bearings, and the drive end uses single-row cylindrical roller bearings that can withstand the maximum axial load of the pump. Additionally, the pulley can be easily replaced to change the pump speed, meeting changes in working conditions or performance changes after pump wear. The bracket has a split mounting plate that can be conveniently placed on a steel frame foundation or concrete foundation; the pump should be submerged in slurry during operation. The pump inlet has a filter screen to prevent large particles from entering the pump.

The LPR type pump structure is exactly the same as the LP type pump, with the only difference being that the parts submerged in slurry are lined with corrosion-resistant rubber. The rubber-lined parts include the shaft, pump body, impeller, wear plate, and filter screen. The connecting bolts in the submerged parts are all equipped with rubber protective sleeves. The transmission parts are the same as those of the LP type pump.
